Planet Earth’s most powerful nation – militarily and economically – is the United States of America, a federal republic comprising fifty semi-autonomous states and a federal district – Washington, D.C The USA is bordered in the north by Canada and in the south by Mexico. The state of Alaska is the northwestern part of North America and the state of Hawaii is anarchipelago in the mid-Pacific.
According to Yahoo, the USA is also the world’s most warlike nation state, having since it’s own War of Independence, been involved in no fewer than sixty-nine wars (excluding battles against Native Americans).
